74HC5555D.112 Nexperia

The 74HC5555D.112 is a 8 bit advanced high speed CMOS multiplexer/demultiplexer. It is a member of Nexperia's high performance 74HC CMOS Logic family. It has two enable inputs (E1 and E2), two common inputs (Y0 and Y1) and eight data inputs (A0 to A7). The device is capable of multiplexing/demultiplexing up to eight bits with very high speed operation. The high speed operation is achieved by using 74HC logic gates to control the device functions. When both enable inputs (E1 and E2) are low the common inputs (Y0 and Y1) are connected to the data inputs (A0 to A7). When either E1 or E2 is high, one of the common inputs is connected to the corresponding bit from the data inputs. The device is available in a space-saving SSOP (48) package, as well as a plastic or ceramic DIP (48) package. It is suitable for use in high speed multiplexing/demultiplexing applications.
