DATASHEET ISL90461 FN8229 Rev 3.00 Single Volatile 32-Tap XDCP October 14, 2005 Digitally Controlled Potentiometer Features (XDCP) Volatile solid-state potentiometer The Intersil ISL90461 is a digitally controlled potentiometer 2-pin UP/DN interface (XDCP). Configured as a variable resistor, the device consists of a resistor array, wiper switches, a control section, DCP terminal voltage, 2.7V to 5.5V and volatile memory. The wiper position is controlled by a 2- Tempco 35 ppm/C typical pin Up /Down interface. 32 wiper tap points The potentiometer is implemented by a resistor array Low power CMOS composed of 31 resistive elements and a wiper switching network. Between each element and at either end are tap - Active current, 25A max. points accessible to the wiper terminal. The position of the - Supply current 0.3A wiper element is controlled by the CS and U/D inputs.
