Regiment
The PH-55 is part of the Engineer Regiment of the United States Army. This regiment is tasked with some of the most important work of the Army, maintaining and constructing facilities, roads, and other infrastructure in the theater of operations. The PH-55 is a special type of Engineer assigned to bridge construction, repair, and maintenance. Their mission is to provide quality assurance and integrity to ensure that the vital infrastructure is maintained and constructed correctly. The PH-55 will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating constructions plans as well as any other requirements related to bridge construction. They are also tasked with training and supervising personnel in bridge construction, ensuring that safety standards are being enforced, and conducting surveys of existing bridges and roads.
