PTZ-63 is a lightweight, multi-purpose infantry fighting vehicle used by the Russian Army and other militaries worldwide. It is designed to transport troops and equipment to theaters of war in all kinds of terrain and hostile environments, while providing protection to the crew and passengers of the vehicle. Its hull is made up of steel armor plates, providing all-directional protection against small arms fire and shell fragments. Equipped with an AT-5 Kawatsuk anti-tank missile launcher and two 7.62mm PKT machine guns, the PTZ-63 also provides effective anti-personnel and anti-tank fire support. Additionally, it has a range of additional technological features, such as thermal imagers, laser range finders, and GPS navigation. The PTZ-63 is a highly maneuverable vehicle and can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h (37.2 mph).
