90-5-2G Raytheon

The 90-5-2G is an autopilot system manufactured by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. The system utilizes a high-performance embedded micro-computer and multimode software to provide precision guidance, navigation and control throughout the flight envelope. It is typically used for combat and commercial aircraft flying at low-to-medium altitudes. The 90-5-2G features include: 3-axis attitude, airspeed and altitude hold, control and trim, two pre-set flight modes, an automatic altitude tracking system, and automatic altitude and heading capture. The system also provides vertical navigational capabilities and an ATM interface. The autopilot is designed to provide a high degree of accuracy and reliability in a wide range of flight conditions and provides features necessary to meet civil airspace requirements.
