The SIM7500E is a communication module from Simcom with GNSS capability. It is an SMD module which complies with the RoHS directive. It is designed for easy integration into existing designs. The module supports high-speed 4G LTE data services and is compliant with GSM/GPRS/EGPRS requirements. It operates on LTE FDD- band 1, 3, 5, 8, 20, 28, 38 and 40, while also supporting WCDMA- band 1, 5, 8, and 40 as well as operations on EDGE, GSM, GPRS and EGPRS networks. The GNSS module which is offered in combination with the SIM7500E is based on the SiRFstarIV and GPS technology and has an internal crystal oscillator with an accuracy of 0.5ppm. It supports a wide range of location formats, such as WGS84, WGS72 and others, and has built-in software support for NMEA, RTCM, and proprietary location protocols.
