MAX25302A/B 2A Automotive Low Noise LDO Linear Regulators General Description Benefits and Features The MAX25302A/B are 1.7V5.5V V , low-noise linear Delivers Flexible Operating Range IN regulators that delivers up to 2A of output current with 1.7V to 5.5V Input Voltage Range only 5.1V of output noise from 10Hz to 100kHz. The 0.6V to 5.0V Programmable Output Voltage RMS regulator maintains 1% output accuracy over a wide in- 2A Maximum Output Current put voltage range, requiring only 100mV of input-to-output 100mV Maximum Dropout at 2A Load headroom at full load. The 1.3mA no-load supply current < 1.5A Shutdown Supply Current is independent of dropout voltage. Reduces Noise and Improves Accuracy The output voltage on MAX25302B can be adjusted to a 1% DC Accuracy Over Load, Line, and value in the range of 0.6V to 5.0V by using two external Temperature resistors. The MAX25302B also includes an active-high 5.1V Output Noise, 10Hz to 100kHz RMS POK signal for trouble-free load startup. 1.3mA Quiescent Supply Current > 70dB PSRR at 10kHz The MAX25302A has nine pin-selectable output voltages: 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.1V, 3.3V, 4.0V, and 5V. Enables Ease-of-Use and Robust Protection Stable with 8F (Min) Output Capacitance All versions include a programmable output soft-start rate, Programmable Soft-Start Rate output overcurrent, and thermal-overload protection. Overcurrent and Overtemperature Protection The MAX25302A/B are offered in a 3mm x 3.5mm, 14-pin Output-to-Input Reverse-Current Protection TDFN package.
